Dr Sam Shribman
Biography
Dr Shribman is a neurologist based at the Charles Dent Metabolic Unit (National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery) and the Atkinson Morley Regional Neuroscience Centre (St George’s Hospital).
He studied medicine at the University of Cambridge and University College London Medical School. He trained in neurology at the Atkinson Morley Regional Neuroscience Centre and completed a Clinical Research Training Fellowship at the UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology. He has masters degrees in Pharmacology and Neurometabolism and Cell Biology and a doctor of philosophy in Neurology.
He leads multi-disciplinary neurometabolic and Wilson’s disease clinics at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery and general neurology and movement disorders clinics at St George’s Hospital. He also contributes to the national Inherited White Matter Disorders service for adults and a regional Deep Brain Stimulation service. His clinical and research interests include the neurological complications of inherited metabolic diseases in adults.
